Semi Gloss Paper without glue, commonly referred to as COS, is a type of printing paper processed through special techniques. Semi Gloss Paper without glue undergoes coating treatment and is calendered by a super calender, resulting in a bright, evenly coated surface with fast ink absorption and excellent printability, which is suitable for exquisite color printing. The other side, however, is relatively rough and is usually not used for printing, or only for simple monochrome printing or content with low requirements for printing effects.

The grammage of COS typically ranges from 170gsm to 400gsm, with common grammages including 180gsm, 200gsm, 250gsm, 300gsm, and 350gsm.

COS is widely used in the packaging and printing field, such as medicine boxes, skincare product boxes, food boxes, and clothing tags. It can also be used to make single-sided leaflets, posters, etc. With good printing performance and cost-effectiveness, it can ensure printing quality while effectively controlling costs.
